Vintage Dress Inspiration

Katie's dress was vintage and one-of-a-kind, but this Nicole Miller beauty is close!

Long Pearl Necklace

Get the look of Katie's elegant long pearl necklace with this beautiful Majorica piece. Scattered man-made pearls give brilliant luster to a versatile chain with a length that can be worn long, layered or doubled. See photo of the couple on bottom left for details on the bride's gown.

Katie and Max’s letterpress invitations were custom, but to get a similar look and incorporate the heart motif, these invitations from Minted are a great ready to purchase option that fit well with the aesthetic of the event.

Honeycomb Globe

To create a look similar to Katie + Max's ceremony back drop, mix and match varying colors and sizes of these paper honeycomb globes.

Felt Pom Poms

We bought several bags of pom poms in different sizes and sorted through them, selecting the colors that would match the event – orange, pink, yellow, white and red - to create a fun alternative to rose petals on the aisle. They were also used in lieu of rice or confetti as the couple recessed at the end of the ceremony.

Cornhole Boards

Katie’s cornhole boards were a custom design, designed by the bride and painted by Merriment. We used unfinished wood cornhole boards like these.

Rock Candy

Rock candy snacks colorfully displayed at guests' tables will keep their sweet tooth satisfied!

Chevron Fabric for Runner

We bought several yards of fabric to make table runners for Katie’s dining table. The bride is an excellent seamstress and sewed them herself!

Heart-Shaped Paper Punch

Use this heart-shaped paper punch by Martha Stewart to create heart confetti for the table, fabric hearts for the escort cards, and decorations for the straws!

Blue Striped Straws

For a colorful accent to a cocktail, add these blue stripe drinking straws with paper hearts for decoration! See the bottom right photo of this board for where to buy a heart paper punch.
